Doris
Overview:
Produced in the fall of '98 as part of a video-dance internship offered to choreographers by PRIM and Circuit Est, Doris is a study of banality : a woman tries desperately to sit on an inflateable footstool in an attempt to stop time. Doris is a metaphor for our imposing solitude which nevertheless manages to bring out a charming naïvety.
