Abdul Kalam, the pioneer of modern Indian aerospace and nuclear technology. The season traces the journey of Bhabha and Sarabhai coming to terms with the challenges facing a young, independent nation and their friendship, sacrifice and determination.

After completing his postgraduate studies, he joined China’s top rocket research center—Aerospace Academy No. 1—where he became part of the team behind China’s most powerful launch vehicle, the Long March 5 (CZ-5), also known as “Fat Five.” Together with his mentors and colleagues, Pan faced countless technical challenges, setbacks, and public doubt. Even after a failed launch, they refused to give up.
