El Maleficio is a Mexican telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for TelevisaUnivision and originally broadcast on Las Estrellas from November 13, 2023, to March 3, 2024. It is a remake of the classic 1983 telenovela of the same name created by Fernanda Villeli. Adapted by Leonardo Bechini, the telenovela was directed by Carlos Cock Marín and stars Fernando Colunga, Marlene Favela, Julián Gil, Sofía Castro, Chantal Andere, Jacqueline Andere, Rafael Inclán, and Julio Vallado. The story follows Enrique de Martino, a wealthy and powerful businessman who secretly practices dark magic to achieve success and control those around him.
