The Snowshoers
This short documentary records the celebration and ritual surrounding a snowshoe competition in Sherbrooke in the late 1950s. The film marked the beginning of a new approach to reality in documentary and prefigures the trademark style of the NFB's newly formed French Unit. Today, "Les raquetteurs" is considered a precursor to the birth of direct cinema.
The Rink
This short, silent film captures a Sunday afternoon at a community skating rink. Le soleil a pas d'chance
A feature-length documentary about the famous Quebec Winter Carnival beauty pageant of 1975. Each year, seven beauties are carefully selected: a queen and six duchesses. A dream that many a young girl has cherished and lived... or experienced firsthand. They will have entered a competition marked by several stages. A tailor-made demeanor will have been demanded of them, one that has taken many hours to shape. The overall impression the viewer gets is captivating: the backstage of the Carnival is opened to an honest, yet wonderfully biased, camera.
The Battle of the Snow
A crowd of a hundred boys rushing the position of another crowd, storming their adversaries with volleys of snowballs, finally driving the enemy from the crest of the hill, a position of vantage they held in the beginning of the fray.
Tobogganing on the Cresta
Much nerve is required by those who participate in this sport as some of the curves of the course are most acute and dangerous, especially at the speed which is indulged in. Several accidents are recorded. The last portion shows another dangerous pastime, viz., Jumping into space from a raised platform, with the American Toboggan.

Winter Sports: Ski Jumping at Grindelwald
This exciting and somewhat dangerous sport has attained a popularity at all the Swiss winter resorts that is really remarkable. The film depicts in a most striking way large numbers of Ski jumpers in rapid succession taking most dangerous leaps, and while many of them on alighting on the snow manage to retain an upright position, others come rolling and tumbling over right up to the camera.
Winter Sports: Curling Contests in the Alps
This is an excellent and spirited picture of fine quality depicting the international curling contests in Switzerland, showing the Scotch champion team under very favorable conditions as well as many of the other leading contestants. The heads of the rinks both at the playing up and the "tee" ends are well shown, as also mid-rink views with the "stones"' merrily sailing past. The appropriate mid-winter Alpine surroundings make up a fine picture.
