Winter Sports: Fun with Jack Frost
Opening with sledge loads of holiday makers leaving the hotel shown afterwards careering along the roadway through beautiful winter landscape. Sledging on the ice, with ladies and gents yoked in as "horses." Then a most animated Tug-o'-War, in which the efforts of all, especially the fair sex, to keep their feet on the ice is exceedingly laughable. Tumbles and slips are frequent, but all enjoy the fun immensely ; and next at ice-hockey, with lady as goal keeper, the tun waxes fast and furious. Figure-skating by lady and gentleman is next shown, and afterwards a magnificent exhibition of difficult and intricate figure skating is given by a gentleman expert. Timber laden bullock sledges in parties make up a fine finish to a really good picture.

Dream Team
Noo Lek, a kindergarten teacher, decides to form a tug-of-war team and hires a football coach to train the young students. The coach, having never worked with children before, realizes victory isn't everything with kids and learns a few lessons himself.

In Vancouver and Victoria
Vancouver is a veritable metropolis, a beautiful cosmopolitan city; perhaps the most English in all the entire Dominion of Canada. It is famous for its wonderful forests, lovely drives, beautiful gardens and the finest private estates in all Canada. There is shown a water-wheel turned by the water from a spring from which the table water for Queen Victoria's own use was furnished and sent all the way to England because of its purity. There are many Scottish societies in Vancouver. Mr. Holmes takes you to witness an unusually fine series of athletic events and the awarding of prizes to the winners of the Highland dances. Such Scottish games as tossing the caber, tug of war and the like are also shown. Charming young ladies do the Highland Fling and the Sword Dance.
