Chelsea FC - Season Review 2012/13
After an eventful season Chelsea fans were once again able to enjoy the sweet taste of success. Having already won the Champions League and Cup Winners' Cup, Chelsea's Europa League glory this season made them the first English side to join the elite band of clubs who have completed the European treble. Throughout the season Chelsea contested 8 different trophies and played in a record-breaking number of matches (69!). Memorable results included reaching the semi-finals in both the FA Cup and League Cup, as well as clinching an automatic Champions League spot following a tense battle for 3rd place between three London rivals. The 2012/13 season also saw Frank Lampard rewrite club history yet again by surpassing Bobby Tambling and becoming the all-time leading goalscorer with 203 goals; a record that will likely stand for many years to come.

The most dominant team in Premier League history. That's what the stats say as Chelsea stormed to their fifth title with a record-breaking run in pole position. Manager, José Mourinho assembled a squad that combined devastating attacking invention with ruthless determination in defence. Irresistible force and immovable object. Among the highlights of a memorable campaign were the genius of Eden Hazard and the flair of Oscar and Willian complemented by the driving force up front of Diego Costa and the midfield mastery of Cesc Fàbregas. Nemanja Matic, a colossus in front of the best defence in the country, led by the indomitable skipper, John Terry, whose consistently outstanding performances have rolled back the years. Winter Sports: Swiss Snow Sports
A great variety of the Swiss snow sports are here shown. Commencing with toboganning round a steep circular descent, and next in increasing numbers down a precipitous incline, ladies and gentlemen in singles and pairs, several carrying flags and other trophies as they whisk merrily past. Still toboganning at high speed, they next engage in many games-grab apple, tilting at the ring, cleaving the champagne bottle, &c., and in these the lady competitors, who are numerous, show up to great advantage. In the final bout, where mixed couples come down together and "dump" into a huge snow heap at great velocity, the fun is brought to a climax.
Chelsea FC - Season Review 2008/09
The 2008/09 season will go down as one of the most dramatic and exciting in Chelsea FC's long and illustrious history. A mid-season change of manager, a devastating departure from the Champions League and a famous victory in The FA Cup Final are just some of the moments to remember. After a scintillating start to the season which saw the Blues undefeated until late October hopes were high that the club could reclaim the Premier League crown and secure an elusive first Champions League title. But a slump in form and fortune saw the club's title aspirations disappear along with manager Luiz Felipe Scolari. The arrival of Guus Hiddink energised the team and revived ambitions of securing a trophy but with the Premier League just out of reach and hearts broken in the Champions League, their perseverance was rewarded with a fantastic win at Wembley in The FA Cup Final ensuring another season of silverware for the mighty Blues.

Filmmaker Pete Smith is very protective of the trophies and other mementos associated with his films that are located in his office at the studio, but knows that Joe Funk, the studio custodian who cleans his office, is the one who is always fussing around with those mementos. As Joe fiddles around with those mementos on this specific occasion, Pete recalls the films and incidents associated with those items, most which are related to sporting events.
