"A pioneering Norweigan climbing film. The filming was made in 1918 by film photographer Gunnar Nilsen Vik. The film begins with some pictures of Ola Berge and the wife. Berge was the one who built the tourist hotel in Turtagrø in 1888 and quickly became the most important meeting place for mountain climbers in Norway."

For over a hundred years, Turtagrø in Sogn has been a mountain climbing center in Jotunheimen. The film photographer Gunnar Nilsen-Vig was there in the summer of 1918 with his film camera. An historical documentary of the norweigan television by Tore Helseth featuring Ole-Ragnar Bakken, Claus Berg, Harald Onsum Berg and Torbjørn Eggen.
