The unexpected arrival of Dorotea and their godchildren Eugenia, the hypochondriac germaphobic vloggher, and Michelangelo, the clumsy, visionary creator with a multiple personality, spoil his plans. Together they embark on the journey to San Polo D'Enza; where Anastasia Genoveffa Annunziata, Michelangelo and Eugenia's cousin, who is close to the altar, lives.

DORIAN'S CONTEMPLATION ON THE CRISIS OF EXISTENCE
A lone man sits in a darkened room, bathed only in the cold, flickering glow of a television. As he watches, the images on the screen blur and distort, merging with shadows that creep across the walls. Strange, surreal scenes flash before him—familiar faces morph, landscapes twist into unrecognizable shapes, and sounds echo as if from a distant, warped reality. Detached and transfixed, he becomes lost in a hypnotic loop, questioning whether he’s watching the screen or if the screen is watching him.

"Untitled Sequence", is an artist film that explores the material processes of filmmaking such as visual narration, cinematography, soundtrack creation and film editing from the perspective of a young female artist – a perspective that is still under-represented in conventional filmmaking. The film engages with contemporary issues of identity and allegories of artistic practice, and is influenced by Jean Cocteau and Maya Deren’s films (particularly their creation of visual ‘dreamscapes’), Nobuhiko Ôbayashi (especially his editing processes) and Lee Miller’s embodiment of both the artist and the artist’s muse in her work both in front of and behind the camera.

Both will be trapped in a strange and cruel world where a ruthless Queen organizes reality as a mad game of chess, a post-apocalyptic dystopia of domination and subjugation where characters can’t eat, speak or move about freely and are periodically viciously attacked.
