What begins as a simple act of kindness quickly spirals into suspicion and public humiliation. As gossip spreads, Mr. Lukas becomes the target of harsh accusations, unable to defend himself against the villagers’ judgment due to his disability. In a world that claims to be understanding, he learns how easily silence can be mistaken for guilt.
