After living undocumented in the UK for two years, Nigerian migrant Isio is caught and sent to the Hatchworth Removal Centre. She hopes for a fair asylum hearing and is convinced that, as long as she strictly follows the rules, she will be released – even if her charismatic new roommate Farah tells her this is a naive mistake.

When an oppressive immigration detention center becomes infected with a mysterious illness causing mass hysteria, an interpreter battles to protect a newly arrived orphan as well as find her way back to her three-year-old daughter at the other side of the facility before it’s too late.

In april of 1975, a moroccan fisherman disappears after being summoned to a Marseille police station. The next day, a young algerian thief is taken away by officers upon his release from prison. They share a lawyer, a young corsican communist who alerts a journalist. They throw themselves into an investigation and discover the existence of a warehouse on the docks where the police have been detaining immigrants before deporting them for over ten years. The discovery became a national scandal, before being suppressed and eventually forgotten.
