Naeemah, a young Black woman who was adopted by a White couple and raised in an all White environment in Massachusetts, makes an effort to learn more about her past by transferring to an Historical Black College in Baltimore. Upon arriving, she meets two young Black women who help guide her during her transition and who face life at different phases... There's no manual for that---it's the blind leading the blind.
The Majorettes
An introverted ballet dancer from L.A. who defies her parents by putting her thriving dance career on hold to go to college. There, she joins her HBCU’s struggling majorette team and attempts to overcome culture shock, her stuffy dance background, and fierce rivals to help return the team to its former glory.
