Why Dogs Smile and Chimpanzees Cry
Is it human conceit to attribute emotions to animal actions, or are emotions basic to life on earth? Wildlife filmmakers and scientists make a convincing argument for the latter in this gripping film.

e-motion
Imagine a world where the trapped emotions, fears, anxieties and unprocessed life experiences we hold in our bodies are the source for everything that ails us. That’s the world we live in. Now imagine a world where everyone is manifesting from their heart the perfect creation that’s inside each of us. Imagine a world where abundance, inner peace, longevity and loving relationships abound. Imagine emotion experts from around the world sharing their wisdom and negative-emotion clearing techniques to light a new pathway for humanity. Imagine we are sacred, spiritual beings here for a much larger reason, serving a much higher purpose, a divine purpose. That’s where we’re going.

Metonimia
The story of a panic attack; of one, no, two hands dancing; of a party that does not fit everyone; of a tramp challenging the divine; of a little girl that aged a bit. The story of everybody, of somebody, or maybe the story of nobody at all, that unfolds under the eyes of an atonic spectator. The fragmented story of the myth of the common man, of their strengths and their weaknesses, of their feelings and their emotions, of their success and thier failure. In a few words, the story of the human contradiction. The story of the steps of the first and last individual, and all of those who walked in the meantime. The human life.

Between reality, memories and songs, around this letter which puts into images the inner journey that her writing must have led her to make, this fiction plunges us into the reflection that the announcement of the disease awakened in her...

Tears of the Buddha: Spirituality and Emotions
Tears of the Buddha: Spirituality and Emotions explores the spiritual path through the lens of emotion. Director Joel Lesko interviews modern Buddhistic teachers to find out how their teachings apply in daily life - are emotions an impediment to spiritual growth? What about so-called unspiritual emotions like anger and hate? Do emotions trap a seeker in the personal self? Tears is a serious look at an area of life that is often confusing and problematic for people in spiritual practices. Rather than another documentary about a teacher's enlightenment or awakening, Tears of the Buddha questions age-old teachings about emotions and leads to an important conversation about individual selfhood - is it real, or is it an illusion? Lesko shares his own experiences and interviews leading teachers including Gangaji, Eli-Jaxon-Bear, Jeff Foster, and others.
