All About Steve
After one short blind date, Mary Horowitz, a brilliant and eccentric crossword constructor, is convinced that Steve, a CCN cameraman, is her soul mate. Because his job takes him hither and yon, she crisscrosses the country following Steve, with the encouragement of a reporter, turning up at media events he's at to convince him they are perfect for each other. Along the way, she befriends an assortment of misfits who accept her for who she is, leading her to reassess her reasons for this strange journey.

'Southern Peaks' continues the story of 'River of ice', a mountaineering tour on Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand. In the film, two women and a mountain guide ascend up to Mount Moltke. From Defiance Hut, past the Unser Fritz Falls, across the Franz Josef Glacier, past Castle Rock, to the Summit. On the way, they encounter a friendly Kea, New Zealand's mountain parrot. Finally, the group reaches the summit and admire the magnificent vistas. 'Glimpses of New Zealand' were a series of films produced at the end of the twenties by the New Zealand Government Publicity Office to promote the beauty and attractions of the country.

Sebastopol
A mountain guide and a young woman make an ascent to Mount Sebastopol in New Zealand's Southern Alps. The couple leave from Mount Cook's Hermitage Hotel and after following an easy path by foot, they rock climb a sheer rock face. After reaching the top of the rock pinnacle, they follow by snowy terrain up to the top of Sebastopol, completing a precarious passage across the steep snowfield. River of Ice
A mountaineering tour on the Franz Josef Glacier, on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. After leaving the Fox Glacier Hotel, two young women and a mountain guide take the route up to Waiho River to reach the glacier terminal face. Then, already in the ice, the women are instructed in ice climbing. The group ascends roped through the serrated pinnacles of ice and after a lunch break with teacups, they climb up to the Defiance Hut, on the glacier moraine, to spend the night there. The story continues in the film 'Southern Peaks', where the party climbs Mount Moltke. Kamet Conquered
Following in the footsteps of Captain John Noel and his immensely popular documentaries taken on the Mount Everest expeditions of the 1920s ("Climbing Mount Everest"/"The Epic of Everest"), Frank Smythe hoped to help finance his 1931 attempt on Kamet, another Himalayan peak, by bringing back film footage of a successful ascent including summit shots which were at that time the highest ever taken in the world.

An Ascent of the Monte Rosa Glaciers
An alpine ascent Monte Rosa glacier by a large group of mountaineers equipped with crampons and ice axes. The group ascends from the Gabiet lake to the Corno del Camoscio (3.024 meters) and up the Capanna Gnifetti hut at 3.647 meters. From there they continue the progression by the glacier up to the Capanna Regina Margherita hut at 4.559, the highest observatory in Europa at the time, from where they start the way back to the village of Gressoney. The film was produced in 1932 by the Instituto Nazionale Luce during the Italian Fascist regime.

Activities include snow activities like snowball fights, dog sledding, ski lessons, and hunting of European chamois; and summer activities like golf practice in front of the hotel, rock climbing, and sight-seeing trips and picnic outings amid scenery of outstanding beauty.

From there, a group of three roped climbers, make a rock climbing ascent to the Torre Venezia and the Torre Trieste, in the Italian Dolomites. The film was produced in 1935 by the Instituto Nazionale Luce during the Italian Fascist regime.
