Jacques the Fatalist and His Master
Jacques (Patrick Chesnais) and his master (Guy Tréjan) ride through the countryside on a mysterious journey punctuated by adventures, according to the people they encounter and the inns that receive them along the way. At the same time, Jacques tells his master how he came to know the beautiful Denise (Marie-Christine Rousseau), following the many twists of chance that occurred after the episode of the Battle of Fontenoy.
The Spot
A secret place inside a public high school embraces students’ freedom and an indirect bond between admirers, while also serving as a private passage for others. Once exposed to the administration, surveillance cameras are installed and everyone abandons the space. Later, the walls are repainted and the writings erased, causing the memories of the place to vanish and its trace to die as if it had never existed.
