In 2015, Jon Rudnitsky landed his dream job as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. One season later, he was fired. Over the next decade, he toured comedy clubs and small venues across the country, trying to rebuild a career that never became what he imagined. Special Boy is an intimate documentary about a comedian searching for what’s next after losing his dream job.
